Lucia Silveira is the Administrative Coordinator for Dorchester Bay EDC. Lucia provides first-in-class customer service to all internal and external customers, as well as provides high level and complex administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team. Lucia Silveira has worked in Property Management for 10 years and has been a licensed realtor for the past 14 years. She has worked for the State of Massachusetts as a Contract Specialist and is a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Officer. She has also worked in local government in the Town Administrator’s Office and the Department of Public Works. As a licensed realtor, Lucia has helped many clients in the community either purchase investment property or become 1st time homebuyers. Lucia is passionate about economic empowerment through home ownership in the Uphams Corner and surrounding neighborhoods. Working as the Administrative Coordinator allows her to participate directly with the community and fulfill Dorchester Bay’s mission of empowering residents and business owners. Lucia holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Regis College. She hopes to pursue her Master’s Degree in Management in the near future. Lucia loves Cape Verdean everything, Haitian food, Bachata, afros, curly hair, nature, all the different accents of the world, gardening, sustainable living, talking real estate and just overall living in gratitude. “The more grateful I am, the more beauty I see.”
