Saturday, July 1, marked my first year as CEO of Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation. This has been the most challenging and rewarding year of my career. I’m grateful for both the lessons and the wins.
It is one of the greatest honors of my life to serve the people in this community, whose stories reflect my own. Community and purpose motivate me each and every day.
I could not be prouder of the team we have built and what we’re accomplishing together. Our senior leadership team and full staff of over 30 talented and committed individuals truly reflect the diversity of the people, cultures, and communities we serve. This team will take Dorchester Bay to new heights.
Our team is a part of the fabric of the neighborhoods we serve – we are not passersby. We fight hard for our residents, small businesses, and folks returning home from incarceration. We are pursuing innovative solutions for affordable housing and commercial real estate in our neighborhoods. Take a look at our impact report to see what we were able to do together.
None of it is easy. But if we can accomplish so much in one year, the future looks bright.
