Bridges to Green Jobs Training Program

Are you looking for a new career path with minimal requirements, paid on-the-job training, and transitional and financial support for up to your first 6 months on the job? The Bridges to Green Jobs training program might be a good fit for you. Bridges to Green Jobs is a 2-week technical and soft skills training launched in 2022, that prepares Massachusetts residents for entry-level jobs in clean energy.

 Program Information​​​​​

Timeline and Services:

  1. Weeks 1 & 2: Paid hands-on technical Weatherization/Insulation training (includes blended carpentry, construction, and building science basics), essential job skills training, and career exploration. Trainings are typically Monday-Friday for two weeks, between 9am-3pm.

  2. Weeks 3-10: Connection to employers and extended training opportunities, access to a financial coach (budgeting support, credit building information, and more), 1:1 and group check-ins for 12 weeks post-program, and financial support/incentives for up to your first 6 months in the field (upon meeting eligibility criteria).

Requirements:

  1. Must be 18 years or older

  2. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  3. Must be authorized to work in the United States
