Lara Cardoso is one of two Climate Justice Community Organizers for the Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative. She grew up in Brockton, a large city South of Boston, where she attended school and still resides today. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from the University of Massachusetts Boston – located in Dorchester- and is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Environmental Management.
Prior to joining FICC, she held several positions in environmental advocacy organizations, including the Environmental League of Massachusetts, and more recently, the Massachusetts Climate Action Network. She is very excited to work with and learn from residents in the Boston area, and looks forward to continuing to advocate for climate justice and health equity.
