Dorchester Bay EDC is thrilled to launch the HubHustle Collective—two 8-week business development cohorts – one designed for early-stage entrepreneurs and one for small subcontractors in construction. You’ll gain the tools, training, and capital to accelerate your growth, sharpen your strategy, and become loan-ready for future funding.
What Small Businesses Will Gain:
- Up to $8,000 in grant funding upon successful completion
- Immersive business training led by experts in marketing, finance, and capital readiness
- One-on-one coaching and tailored technical assistance
- A customized roadmap with actionable steps for your business’s launch and growth journey
Cohort Details:
- General Business Track starts Monday, May 5 – Apply by Monday, April 28th
- Construction Subcontractor Track starts Saturday, May 10 – Apply by Monday, May 5
Each cohort will include 8 local micro businesses—this is your moment to be one of them.
Who Should Apply:
- Micro businesses in Dorchester and surrounding neighborhoods including Roxbury, Roslindale, Hyde Park, Mattapan, and Jamaica Plain.
- In the early stages of launching or re-launching
- Registered businesses generating revenue now—or will be within 3 months post-cohort.
Program Commitment:
- 3 days per week, 4 hours per day (includes instruction, lunch, and breaks)
- Full participation, timely assignments, and readiness to pitch your business by graduation
